In a couple weeks I'll post a pic of my newest dozen of "vanilla" arrows....nothing fancy or as nice as yours Snag...but hopefully fly straight.

Killdeer, no need to sand. Just strip the membrane with the quills attached for the one you are gluing to the feather to be spliced. Then strip the quills w/ membrance off the one to splice. When you glue the stripped piece on you are replacing one membrane for another...it's a beautiful thing!!!
