yup,5" feathers, four at 60-120,helicle, great for hunting.

is there a reason I am missing that 60-120 helical is better, flight wise, then 4 set evenly apart at 90?

As near as I can figure, the 2 fletchings on the rest and strike plate are exactly the same as an arrow that has 3 fletchings.

None are better, only different.   :archer2:

depending in your cut to center, the 120 will keep things closed to center than the 90.my bows are not close to center, so it makes a difference, if you've a deep shelf, no difference for 90's.

My bow is a center cut and it seems to be very tolerant of different set-ups. I even shot my 3 fletched arrows odd-in and it worked well.

Even with vanes the accuracy was tolerable.

I have also made the switch to 4x4"@90 degree with left helical fletch. I think it just looks cool. Using bearpaws fetching tool with tape. Works out great so far. I fletch with all pink parabolic cut feathers. Good luck. I think experimenting with the trad equipment is one of the enjoyments.
