Kirk is using Macassar for the I-Beam on my Sasquatch. Should be here any day.

Macassar ebony with black and white ebony also makes a nice combination.

Thanks to all for posting.  Don't know if those pics made it easier or harder to choose.

Love it in my risers and on end tips but would hesitate to use ebony as a core wood in my limbs. Good luck and good shooting.

bohuntr

I love the Maccaser and Zebra wood combo in my Brackenbury Nontypical.

To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

Holy smoke Philip!  That is the most beautiful bow I've ever seen a picture of!  Are those Rose Oak limbs?

I see now how discerning you are! Good luck with your Bear hunting in Wisconsin!

Steve Clandinin

Bowwild is right I've seen thousands of bows over the years I honestly can't remember seeing one as nice as yours.

Thanks guy's.

I owned this riser many years ago and sold it.
Recently it found it's way back to me and I sold it again.

I don't know why I sold it twice but each time I did, I regretted it!

So.........I reached out to get it back. This was not an easy negotiation. It took several days of talking and some serious trade material.

Anyway, she's back home now and NOT FOR SALE!...LOL

Here's another look at her. The limbs are from Brandon Stahl at Rose Oak Creations. They are #1 limbs making a 60" bow on this B riser and they are 51# @28".
These are the finest Bear T/D Limbs I have ever seen.
