Going to order new string for my samick sage and wanted to know if it is really worth the extra money and wear on my bow? What am I going to gain by going to a fastflite? Thanks for all the help!

L82HUNT

In most cases yes.  Pick up a few fps.  Less handshock, and in some cases actually quieter.
Wear on bow, i dont buy that theory.

stickbowmaniac

I shoot fast flight on all my bows with no problem...
Dryad Orion 58" 49#@28"
Static limbs
Kodiak Magnum    52" 50#@28"

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

What kind of bow do you have and is it Fastflight capable?
Atatarpm   "Traditional Archery is a mastery of one's self ; not of things."
71# Qarbon Nano
67# T2 Blacktail
85lbs Bama
100lbs Bama
60lbs Big D's Long Bow

Night Wing

If the bow can handle fastflite, I say go with the fastflite.

There's not a big difference in price, and you'll probably be money ahead in the long run due to the increased durability.

I've never seen any proof or evidence that a properly made FF string causes any kind of extra wear on a bow.  I've shot the same bow for 15 years or more.  66@30.5" and it's never had a dacron string on it.
