The Bow You Have To Own
«

So, I just recieved my Northern Mist Superior in the mail on Thursday. And I love this bow already. I dont have the correct arrows for it yet but it is shooting my 1916's well enough for now. But I STILL have this burning for that "perfect" bow. And for whatever reason it may be I think its the Bear Takedown. Preferably a B handle #3 limbs. I like longer bows.... Maybe a combo to make it a 62" But I think I need to start saving up for one.
So what is your favorite bow of all times. Or what bow do you want that you think is your holy grail of bows?

I HAVE to own quite a few. My latest is a Morrison Cheyenne that I picked up on this site. I wasn't disapointed, its a very smooth shooter and seems to be a bit on the fast side too!

My Holy grail would be a longbow built and shot by,the man himself,Howard Hill.I'd be happy just to have the chance to hold one.
As far as your favorite,I think you can only decide that after you've shot it. There was a custom recurve I HAD to have years ago.Forked out the cash for it and was like a kid at Christmas opening it when it showed up. Took it out and shot it,wanted to cry, couldn't sell it quick enough!!!!

Fortunately for me, it's a bow I've already got
, I just want it in a little heavier weight.

My BW longbow. It just shoots like a dream, hits where I want to, and is beautiful, to boot.

No "have to have" to it. I already have it with my Sentman Moosejaw longbow.

I would like a set of Border HEX 6 limbs on an "A" Bear take down riser.....58", 50-55#. Could be a magnesium riser or wood....I think I would like the magnesium.
I could also say that I would like a set of static tip limbs to mount on my Stalker Tracker riser...58", 50-55#.

One of my "have to" bows, I already own, a 50lb Tom Prasons Mattawoman. Smooth, light, and hits where I want it to. The other two would be a Hill in 100lb or better, and a Great Northern "old school" with the green glass. Prettiest bow ive ever seen!!!!!!

Best I've ever had is my Toelke Lynx. I have to try the 60" recurve limbs, my 58" are so awesome and everyone says the 60" are better!

Mine is a Herters itaska longbow. I live 35 miles from Waseca (home of Herters) and I think it would be cool to have one of there longbows. I have found that Herters recurves are easy to find, but that is not the case with there longbows!
