Good decision! Let life wait for once, not the hunting.
Saskatchewan is a GREAT place, Good Luck.

Good luck, looking forward to seeing the pictures and hearing the stories when you get back!!!   I bear hunted the last 2 years in Saskatchewan and wish I was going back this year. It really is a beautiful place with tons of wildlife and some exceptionally nice people!
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

Manitoba Stickflinger

Best of luck on your hunt. Saskatchewan is a great place for bowhunting...especially for bears!

JimB

May be.I hear rumors that Manitoba doesn't do bad. Thanks Ryan.Good luck to you and yours.

Good luck chasing those Bruins. I grew up in north-central Saskatchewan, enjoy "God's Country".

Just a short update.I knew the outfitter and his son were going to be checking some bait sites and I got a call Saturday night.Activity is still very slow due to weather and they were expecting some more of that. The outfitter did find a huge track near one of the stands they had in mind for me.Basically, they decided it would be much better for me to come a week later, the 20th.

Actually, this will take a ton of pressure off me.I just had too much to get done in order to make it by the 13th.The other plus is,I will be sharing camp with a couple of the most hardcore traditional guys I know. This will also allow me to get out and chase bears around here.It has been slow here also but I expect it to pick up in the next few days.

Good luck Habujohn. That's going to be a great trip.

Best of wishes on the hunt.
