well i was seated high on the ridge with the rain just pouring down at 5am! i figured i could take the pain for a little while as i had the day off from work and wanted to give it a go no matter what. i am a firm believer in you have to pay your dues and i was cashing checks this morning!  :readit:   NO gobbles at all while i sat there but did have a hen walk right by me so i knew the birds are where they should be. raining so hard i could not keep my pipe lit so around 7:30 i got up to stretch my legs. wouldn't ya know it about 100 yards away there stands ole "Big Medicine" in full strut!  :readit:   on the way out heard one gobble in the low lands but just could not work him in, at the point my fearthes looked like they were about an inch long glued to the wrrow, i gained about 10 pounds wearing wool as well! hope to get a chance at him this weekend with a few friends all using bow.  :archer:

Being retired I deiced to wait till tomorrow and hunt dry. Ken you have to invest in some rain gear!   :smileystooges:   I would rather be dry than wet any day!!

Wet here too. Did see a real nice Tom & he was trailing a hen all the way. Just when I thought maybe she would bring him in she turned & lead him onto posted property. Game over today. Back out in the morning. Good luck everyone.
