Stumping and Scouting with pics...

Headed a little ways South to check out a new area for elk and turkeys, I found some beautiful country (not hard in CO), but no sign of the turkeys...

Maybe next weekend I'll get lucky and find some. At the very least I'll be spending time in a gorgeous place with a good buddy or two, livin' the dream...









It was hazy and windy yesterday, but that didn't stop us from roaming around a little while.

Look closely and you can see some Tiger salamanders in this little pool:










There were at least a dozen in here. I guess they only enter water to mate so we got kinda lucky to see so many at once.
