Shot Zwickeys for years.  Switched to STOS 160's about 5 or 6 years ago.  Both work great.

2 blade heads have been around the longest (since the stone age) and still are probably the most popular design for a reason.

I just shot a groundhog today with a zwickey! Went through his back and blew through his skull from 30 yards! Great penetration with a 2 blade.

Anyone ever have the hole close up making tracking difficult?

JoeM

Spined a doe with a two blade Zwickey this year, BH helped me out on a bad shot. Pics do more justice than I can.

All the deer I have ever shot with 2 blades died faster and left a better blood trail than with 3 blades. I attribute this to my ability to get a 2 blade sharper than a 3 blade.

Been using zwickey's for a long time.I like the filed serated edge better than the smooth razor edge. It leaves a jagged hole which doesn't close up which leads to a better blood trail imo.But whatever works for ya.

Ace

I have also successfully used Stos and Zephyr but I've just simplified things and gone all Ace

As long as it is razor sharp!  My go-to is a 2 blade and as Mike at Legends bows can back me up when I say they can leave a heck of a blood trail.
Keep em sharp and pick a spot.

Thanks for the pix JoeM. Feel real dumb ever criticizing Zwickey so many years ago when it was my fault to start with. 30/30 of BH's.

Zwickey, Magnus, Ace, and an assortment of other 2-blades over the years...just gotta be scary sharp and placed well. The critters can't tell how many blades popped their lungs...

I killed lots of deer with 3 blade heads they did good. Then I tried Simmon's heads they are unequaled in my opinion. They penetrate make big holes and leave great blood trails.LCH

TURKEYFOOTGIRL

I have shot deer before, absolutely perfect through the lungs and never found a single drop of blood other than on my arrow buried in the ground.  Found deer about 100 yards away piled up.
Have been shoot in Simmons lately and I have noticed a big increase in the blood hittin the ground.  Any sharp head kills well with a good shot, some just make finding the dead critter easier.

I've had so much luck with Zwickey Deltas I have got to the point I won't shoot anythings else. Very tough broadheads.  :)
