very nice! I sent my silvertip to dave a couple weeks ago to have it completely refinished, grip checkered, weight taken off limbs, and elk antler knobs to match the tips.

It is over 10 years old...and showed signs of use..scratches, nicks, etc...so a facelift was in order...

Right now, until Beth calls...it's like a kid waiting for christmas!

I want to thank all of you for the kind words..It was a bow that I had designed in my head for quite a while..Drove Beth and Dave nuts as I "tweaked" the order about 5 times, haha..As all of you know Schafer Silvertips remain at the helm of Trad Archery and Craftsmanship. Dave will work with you and there is no holding back Dave when it comes to trying something different as long as the bows' integrity isnt compromised. The bow shoots great, and has great cast and speed..heck , I may have to order another one...

That is a beautiful tribute to your dad! I love the tip recurve...just don't have the cash for one. Maybe it will be my retirement bow someday. Sure do love his bows!

Timmy, Mike, thanks! Pat, Sergio, Jim, Tom, all of you Schafer Shooters know that they have a special place on the rack and in your heart. Great bows and a lot of history behind them. And thanks to everyone else for the great compliments.
