Anyone try landscape fabric for targets?  Gonna try and see.

i had some as a liner in a replacement bag that i got at bass p. s. , the arrows hungup real bad when trying to pull them, but it may have been the cheap bag holding on to them. i dismantled it. it was a pain wich ever was causing the problem. its heavy filtration felt.

I've made my own targets for years using that black landscape fabric. works great.

Yep, it works great. I sew up the sides and top with baling twine and fill the inside with quilt batting.
Good to see you lurking George. I was reading about the missouri breaks last night and thought of you. St. Jude bow is still going strong.

I never used Landscape fabric but we have made about 100 targets drawn on burlap bags for our Traditional leagues. They coulkd be made into pillow tagets like Ames offwers. However, we wanted more of a variety than anyone offered. It was fun making them and they last surprisingly long. They are also fun to make!

I may buy a 3d style target at some point but there is just too much cheap to free stuff to shoot to convince me I need one right now.
Currently using woven feed sacks stuffed with paper feed sacks or whatever else is laying around.
