Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.

footed 4 of them for stumpers so far so great

Once I went to carbon, they are all I shoot. Tried some other claiming to be better brands but they didn't prove to be as durable as my GTs.

35/55s fly great from my bows and very durable.

Very tough shafts and the best value out there among carbons.  Put some 1" 2219 footings over my 75/95's and I believe with an Ace Hex Head that combination could shoot through a concrete block without damage.

Someone asked about insert glue?  I've tried every 2-part epoxy I could find, and none of them will hold up to a hard hit on a hidden rock.  Switched to Gorilla Glue Professional and have never had a loose insert since.

GT's are all I shoot so I guess I like them a little bit!

I have shot Goldtips since 1997, and have never looked back. I shoot both the 55/75 and the 75/95. I see no reason to really change, in other words, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

stickmeister

The best I've used. Accurate as all get out. Feathers don't like the wet and lose their shape, but that's my problem not GoldTip's.

I've had great luck with the shafts, not the nocks.I've been pounding Gold Tips for 4 years now and haven't broken one yet.I do foot all my carbons and have made brutal frontal hits on wood, rocks and a steel post-side slaps as well. They are hard to beat.

I love them. I shoot Pro Hunters , the XT Trad Hunters and the cheaper Expedition Hunters . When I need to replace any or add more I will just buy more of the Expedition Hunters. No difference in accuracy, big difference in price.

They are great! Bought 8 of them three years ago and have abused them greatly while roaming. Only lost one due to a head on collision with a huge boulder.

I love the trad GT Trad. Way more durable than anything I have shot extensively. The Carbon express heritage is probably a little more durable but I don't care for the finish on them.     The finish can split when cutting and can be a problem with repeated removal of hot glued inserts.

I am no expert and my panties at not in a wad, but 20  years of shooting Beman ICS shafts tell me they are no where near as durable as the GT trad shaft I have been shooting the last few years. The bow hunter shafts are cheap, but snap like dry twigs on a hard hit or glancing hit. Footing is no use when a shaft tends to break in two or more pieces. 4 years shooting the GT and Beman shaft together and not one GT snapped in half or ruined other than driven in inserts on big rock hits and robin hood hits. Snapped every ICS I didn't robin hood.

Me too.

I like the way the Trad's look, especially when you easily take the printed labels off. I've been shooting them for a year and have broken three, two by robin hooding them -- they are enshrined by my target with the other debris -- and one just a couple of days ago on a stump that turned out to be a rock, mushroomed the point end with a hex head, but I think it's salvageable if I want to do a shorter arrow/heavier head experiment.

I also have some old, new and unused Gold Tip broadheads from back in the day.    :goldtooth:

They're the only thing I shoot.  They can't be beat for the price.  Add a footing to the front and they're practically indestructible.

Love my 5575 30" w/ 50gr insert. Using a 200gr broad head.
