I know the new Dark Matter option hasn't been available long but I would love to hear some reviews from the lucky few that have had the pleasure....!!!

I believe there is only one lucky recipient, so far as of a few weeks ago, and he has been virtually silent since receiving it.

Jim Neaves, like many other bowyers have not had the luxary of building themselves a new bow in years. It has been approx. four years since Jim has built himself one. He has communicated that he is seriously planning to have his own Dark Matter Centaur.

Even though I had changed my order immediateley to the Dark Matter option, I still wished to hear more details and others experiences.

i got dark matter bow shoots quiet. and fast very fast, i had other people shoot bow were really impressed bow is one of the bestlooking ive seen. extremly smooth give it an e for excellent usmc2444

There are at least 2 others that have the "Dark Matter" option in their bow and i have pic's of one of them

and the other owner is readying a post any day now......

Hmmmm.....guess I'll have to go down the street one of these days and pry it out of Jim. I tried to get him to build me a solid phenolic not too long ago, but he had never worked in it.....maybe got him thinking. You say it's not phenolic, huh? By one trade name or another, it's all just about the same.....epoxy impregnated something or another.

I just bought a dark matter and this bow is really impressive. So smooth and very fast. First trad bow I have shot that put 201fps on my chrono - and it is only about 48#'s @ my draw.

Normal shoot recurves so has more vibration than a Habu or Tip, but nothing to keep me from enjoying it.

Mass weight is impressive for longbow - jim will not tell me what it is made of but this thing is quite heavy.

Oh BTW very accurate as well - puts them right where I look!

Really like it.
