Been since January since I had the kids out, I know, shame on me!

I asked where they wanted to go and it was unanimous...they wanted to go back to the shelter we started building in January....

So off we went...
•

"Bonita", my new Jack Kempf Raven, about to kill her first stump...
•

Cade showing off his new TG hat he got from Terry...
•

Mae-Mae making a great shot...
•

Always a pillar of fashion, and never afraid to "strike a pose"!
•

Follow-thru...
•

Pointing at their arrows...
•

"really daddy, another picture"
•

A lot more coming....

•

So excited to see how the shelter had faired so far through the mild winter...
•

One bonita...
•

Another "Bonita"...
•
•

Back to work, fire ring...
•

Then of course we had to build a fire...

Not only pretty, but a great shooter...
•
•

Wishing they had marshmallows...
•

Back to shooting, this time Mae-Mae was a little "wide right"...
•

She insisted on leading the way back to the truck!

I always enjoy your walks in the woods and stump shoots!  Cade and Mae-Mae are very lucky to have these experiences.  Great pictures as always.

Great stuff, can't wait until my girl is old enough!!!
"instinctive archery" is more like playing the violin. Without practice you may remember the mechanics, but you will not be a virtuoso.
