We are all packed up and ready to head for the Pre Spring Fling in Alabama. Will be away from this site for about 5 days. Can't help but wonder what other great photos will be on here when I return.   :clapper:    :archer2:

Killdeer

Wish I were having a fling this weekend, but I am afraid that I am going to be stuck doing housework.
Wanna trade?   :confused:

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

My bows wear EFA quivers or nothing at all.

Killdeer

Hard to match the beauty of that countryside!

We just got back from the Pre Spring Fling in Alabama. It was a lot of fun and a lot of primitive suppliers to learn from. I'd never heard of swamp oak and sparkleberry arrow shafts. Pat B., do you know a guy by the name of Tony Bell? He's into primitive up to his eyeballs.

We had Byron Furgeson, Fred Asbell, and Rod Jenkens there also. Wouldn't that be a group to shoot with? I got a bow from Black Creek while I was there. It's a takedown Banshee and a purdy one. It's so purdy that I might not be able to shoot it.

Killy, I wish that I had known, maybe I would consider trading going there for housework. However, I'm really not very familiar with house work though (according to Karen).

Still time to photograph and post.

Possum Head

If I remember right, and I do, you picked up a Banshee last time you visited Mccalla! Do we have an addiction,have you had counceling?

2fletch

Possum Head, It's not me. It's the guys who come into the shop. They see my latest Banshee and they have to shoot it, then they have to have it. This is my third one and I hope to keep it a little longer. I may have to put a photo on here when I get through unpacking. It wouldn't be for judging, just looking.

This is cool, nice pics!  Here's one from a couple years ago...I'll have to look and see if I have more.
