I say with wood that pretty, 100% Osage!

I was in Brian's hometown several years ago.  I drove by a local livestock acution and they had SEMI TRUCK loads of osage just like that for sale for fenceposts.  I found nothing I liked for staves (straight and clear) but stuff like that to last a bowyer ten lifetimes.

Can't wait for him to cut some veneers...the grain goes all over the place and looks curly in spots and burly in others.  Hopefully these boards will live up to what I've seen in the past!

I've always wanted to do an Ebony and Osage TallTines, kind of an Iowa Hawkeye version.  The suspense is killing me...no hints or nuthin' Josh?
