Jack Kempf Trophy Hunter Longbow

I was very lucky to pick up a used Jack Kempf 2pc Trophy Hunter Longbow last week from Joe Skipp.  I have shot just about every bow Jack makes except this one.  Wow! This is another great bow from Kempf. It was made back in '94 and when I recieved it and shot a few arrows out of it I knew it was a keeper.  I gave it a little face lift by refinishing it, lacing up a new leather grip.  Can't wait to get on a gobbler in and few months with this one.  I decided to post some pics since you rarely see any of his Trophy Hunter Longbows.  It has a walnut riser, elm limbs, and anter tips.

Great job on the bow Troy...I shot that bow with a brace of 7 1/4". It was 52# at my 27" draw and it handled 2117's real nice (28.5") with both 125 and 160 grain heads.

A TS-1 FF string and the bow was whisper quiet, smooth to 29" and pretty quick. This was my turkey bow, great for small places and especially when kneeling down for the shot. My new Kempf is 58" but I bumped the weight up to 55#. A few pics..hope ya don't mind...Cocobolo/Yew

That's an awesome bow Troy.  Glad you like it.  So now I can shoot mine without worrying about it disappearing or someon smearing blood all over it.   Hope you get a big Tom with her.  But you'll prob only see pigs.  Better go to the back fenceline.
