Our limbs will be on the way to Blacky shortly.  Not sure if Border is sending any.

I´ve ordered those ACS RC ILF limbs yesterday.
And a nice 17" Dryad Epic ILF riser some weeks ago.
Man, I´m pretty curious, cant wait till february...  :)
I´ve been shooting Border HEX 5 for a year and a half, so I can compare subjectively.
I will report.
Bezaleel ILF riser + Border HEX6 limbs 50#@29"
Morrison XD riser + Border HEX6 limbs 51#@29"

Jorg,

Looking forward to seeing your results.

These follow the trend of the longer ILF limbs being faster than the shorter ones of the same draw weight?

I'm seriously thinking about mating a pair of these long limbs to my 13" ILF riser.  That'd be a scary 58" curve.

Mike,
on the website under pricelist I don't see the price for a orion riser listed, just for the complete standard orion bow.
The ACS recurve limbs are $625 as mentionied   above in this post, but how much is a orion bolt down riser? Same pricing as with the Epic risers?
I guess that is the same question Kirk has...
Thanks...

We've been updating the website the last few days.  Take a look now.

Mike,
I´m pretty sure the result will be awesome.
I really look forward to that Dryad bow.
Its the first one for me, I´ve never shot one.
But the limb design looks very promising and the dryad epic ilf risers are eyecatcher. imho

Did Blacky complete the test? I could not find it on his website. Thanks.

Yep he did.  It should be on the website by the end of the week.

He posted results here a few weeks ago.

speed was 198 fps at 9 gpp.

Mike I'm trying to figure out how long a set up would be from the website and I must be dense. I am interested in a 17" riser but with the shortest limb that is still effecient on that riser (large head and hands and only 27" draw). What would the bow length be?

Also I missed it in the thead. What were the specs on the bow that Blackie tested?

Mike, was 198 FPS with release or fingers?

Mike, Sorry but that link did not answer my question??

wingnut

I'm not sure but I think Blacky's tests are done with a release on the shooting machine.
