Guy's and Gal's,

On behalf of The Professional Bowhunters Society, I would like to announce the following....

The PBS is holding it's Bi-annual banquet this year out on the "West Coast" in Portland OR  March 22-25th [ around "Spring Brake" for those with families ].

It will be at the [ huge and beautiful] Red Lion Motel on the banks of the Columbia River.

Membership is not a strict requirement to attend, as guest are welcome.

But, if your interesed it's only $35.00 per year to become an Associate Member [ which I am ].

This membership also includes 4 quarterly, excellent quality, magazines which are put out by PBS. This great publication contains awesome stories and articles by it's members.

If your interested .. in either joining us, or checking out information on the Banquet  as a guest?      Please, check us out at probowsociety.net

BTW, if any Tradgang members or sponsors care to make a donation to the PBS banquet... as a raffle or auction item?

I am accepting them at my address where they will be logged in, recorded along with the contributor's name [ and acknowledgement given at the banquet], stored in a secure, climate controlled enviroment. I will be keeping records of all donations, which I then regurally relay to the Comittee.

Then, with the help of some other local PBS members, all items will be hand delivered to the banquet when the time arrives.

If your interested in making a donation? Please send me a PM or Email me at frogonharley@aol.com and I'll be happy to supply my address.

Thanks' and I look forward to meeting and shaking hands with many of you there.      :jumper:

If you havent attended one of these before, than your missing out.  It is a great event and a chance to make new friends.  I hope to make it out this year but I may have to work.

Can't wait to see Portland for the 50th Anniversary of the PBS.  Looking forward to meeting a bunch of my "out west" buddies out there.  Going to make it a big family vacation

Tracy and I were really looking forward to the trip to Portland. When the opportunity came up to expand our business to include Grizzly broadhead plans had to change.  I'm sure we are going to miss a great event.  Now I'm looking forward to reading about the event.

My reservations have been made, tickets bought, the shop (garage) cleaned, and a donation bow started.  I am looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting some new ones,  A great organization with great members, if at all possible, I highly recommend  you attend.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

PBS gatherings are the funnest events I have attended.  Unfortunately with my wife in school I am going to have to miss another one.  The good news is she should be done in time for us to go to the 2014 banquet.  Have fun everyone.

Well i think I'm going to try and make it. I'm new to trad and archery and this would be my first trad/archery event. Pretty excited to meet other trad folks, learn new things, and make new friends. Any helpful hints to make this a memorable trip let me know. Hopefully see you there!

Gene,
After we talked the other day you got me thinking.  I am going to see what I can do to make the trip out.  At the very least you will be receiving donations from me.
We will talk more when I see you after xmas.

With all the trad gangers coming Tricia and I will have to plan to attend.  Gene, will the attendees have time to shoot?  We could arrange something with Archery World or Chinook archers.   I will have to see if I can put together a knife or hawk to donate.
