Hello All,
Today I became a member but I have been reading in depth many of the topics for several weeks now which inspired the several leather projects pictured below. As mentioned in my signature, I currently do not have a complete bow (broken-tipped Grizzly, Martin Savannah X-mas wish to wife, and a red-oak board bow in progress). I have been interested in traditional archery for 25 years but am just now becoming "addicted" again and hope to pass it along to my son and daughter...my current "arrow-pullers" at 5yrs & 3yrs. I just took up leather working over the last few months and would be interested in any feedback (pos/neg welcome) to help in the learning process. Time to go scrape on some red oak! Thanks for all of the great info up to this point...happy to be a member!

Quiver Back - I know...the straps took the dye a little different than the rest.

Quiver Front Carving - Family Crest...intended to be artwork, not offensive...apologies if taken otherwise.

I based the initial design on Rob DiStefano's design in the how-to section and then modded the strap design to be a 3 point harness with a wider shoulder...now if I only had a bow to shoot it with...I suspect Santa will be good to me this year.

Stiks-n-Strings....I have looked in the bowyers bench and cannot believe the wealth of quality info there...It got me started on the red-oak board bow I am working on now. Hand shaping instead of power tools due to military deployment has me away from my garage for a year.

Hey Brian...just for future reference.  If you want to edit your post or have a "do over" so to speak, click on the notepad with the pencil on it next to the quotation marks. It is right above your post and to the right of the posted date.  After you click on that icon you can "fix" whatever you need to fix and then click the edit button.  It comes in real handy for me at times.     :)

Amazing leather work!  That crest on the quiver is insane!

Stay safe while deployed and keep at it.  That stuff is awesome.
Give me a bow a topo and two weeks, and I guarantee I kill two weeks!

Agreed....very nice leather work and I like your strap design on that quiver. Your Family crest looks like you come from a long line of strip club owners....lol.

My dad was the FIRST to inform me that that was not part of the crest  :D ...it isn't of course but it was the only line art I could find that had similar scroll work and fit the area...not my original thought for decoration either but it grew on me...they are "praising the family crest"..should have just done and elk or something  :D

I like the ladies on your quiver. If some one were to be offended by it, Id offer them up a hug myself because theyd be sorely in need of one. Very nice.
