The 2012 Compton Dream Raffle will have a Bear Archery theme. Below is a poster of all of the items included in the raffle along with a listing of each item.

6. Original 1959 Bear knife/file set.

7. Original box of 1959 Bear Razorheads.

8. Original 1959 Bear 4 arrow bow quiver.

9. Original 1959 Bear shooting glove.

10. Original 1959 Bear armguard (not pictured).

11. Original 1959 Bear bowstring in original plastic sleeve.

12. Replica of original 1959 Bear catalog.

The winner of the raffle will have the choice of keeping the Vintage Works '59 replica bow pictured or having a similar bow built to your exact specs, including left or right hand.

All current Compton members should be receiving their raffle tickets within the next few days.  If you are not a Compton member, you can still enter to win this fantastic package and become an instant Bear collector!  (Of course we would also love to have you join as a member as well    )

If you would like to receive some raffle tickets simply send me a PM or email to joe@prairietrad.com.  Give me your regular mail address and tell me how many tickets you would like.  They are $5.00 each or 6 for $25.00.  I will send the tickets out to you and you can simply complete the stubs and mail them back with your payment.

As a special bonus for Trad Gang members only, Johnnyrazorhead (John Kabisa)has offered up the Fred Bear picture below as a bonus prize. Anyone who purchases tickets through Trad Gang will have their name thrown in the hat for a chance to win the picture below.

When you email or PM me with your regular mail address I will mail out as many tickets as you request, and when you return the stubs along with your payment I will put your name in the hat for the picture. So there are two ways to win for Trad Ganger's!

The origianl 59 Kodiak included in the package is from Wade Phillip's collection.  I did a refinish on it complete with new decals, side plate and feather rest.  Oliverstacy provided a new flemish twist string.  I'm really happy with the way it turned out. With the execption of a couple of filled holes on the riser she looks just about like the day she was born.

Got my tickets in the mail today.  Going to have to drop $25 at every function till The Rendezvous.  I am not sure I understand the bonus photo.  If I turn in the tickets I got in the mail today, I do not qualify for the bonus pic?  I need to get tiickets thru TG to qualify for that?  Could you explain that so I can understand it Joe?

Yep, that's all you need to do.  Just make a note that says "Trad Gang" and I'll throw your name in the drawing for the bonus prize as well.  All of you who have asked me to send tickets out will be automatically entered when I receive your stubs and payment back.
