I'm having South build me a set of the new limbs. Any suggestions for veneers to go with this riser? I will be hunting with it.

Thanks Eric, I have seen some that South has done with that and they look great. I can have different back and belly veneers. Any other suggestions?

but the camo sure would be cool

owlbait

Thanks Kevin. I'll bet he has some, what about belly veneers or do the same for both sides?

Yep, marine deep cycle, hooked in series! You wouldn't beleive how well it actually blends into the woods though, but those mountain and sagebrush terrains ???

I would go w/ gray or green stained curly maple on the back and copperhead skins on the belly.

You can always have it dipped. your options are endless.  Billy does a great job.

Yep I like the idea of hunting bunnys with a bow like that about Easter time.
I seeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Purpleheart veneers
God bless you all, Steve

owlbait

Thanks Steve. When I can't sleep I can still get help from you west coast boys!  Do you think the subdued purple like on the riser or some brighter purple? What about the belly?

Just reverse the riser colors - green/grey crosscut veneers on back and purpleheart on the belly.  Have him include the riser overlay wood in the limb overlays and tips.

Yeah don't set that down by a tree and walk away.

Pretty much what I was thinking.

Maybe a wave going thru them.
you know...a green wave running thru the P-heart or vice-versa.

What Jesimaster said sounds really good to me. Another complimentary color would be something yellow or golden such as golden myrtle.

God bless and Merry Christmas, Steve
