I live 3.5 hrs away. I'd really like to see the  collection myself. Thought maybe I'd see If I could ask a friend or two If they be intrested. Are we limited to a 1hr visit, and also how much notice would you need?

I live a hour and a half away. I dont think that we are limited, just thats only when we have the guide.  I will post directions early next week for anyone that wants to join us.

This is an absolutely magnificent archery collection that far too few people know about. It is very much worth the trip from hundreds of miles away. Take your camera!

The collection is something to see.  Dr Grayson concentrated more on non-north american artifacts, but the range of stuff is amazing.  Ask the curator how the reproduction work is going.  Last time I was there they were trying to build some replicas for testing.

He donated his entire collection to the University on Missouri with the stipulation that it never be broken up.  A portion of the collection is on full time display in Swallow Hall.  The rest you have to schedule to see (I think).

I'd too be interested in seeing a posting of pics after the event.
