Congrats Big Ed, can't wait to see the pics!!!
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

Hey if your new found friend has any neighbors that need help too...lol

The quest to improve is so focused on a few design aspects & compensating for hunter ineptness as to actually have reduced a bow & arrow's effectiveness. Nothing better demonstrates this than mech. BHs & speed fixated designs

Bring on the pic's!

Great story up until the part about the wife. You got one great hunt, but future hunts many not be the best idea. Not a good deal having to sneak around her back. Could cause a big marriage problems if she finds out, or worse yet, he could chicken out if caught and deny everything leaving you holding the bag.   You may have just been recruited to kill her favorite pet as part of some twisted marital fight.   :biglaugh:   Sooner or later the neighbor, one of her family, passing friend, or early to return wife will bust you hunting and rat the two of you out.  Then she will be wating for you both and   :mad:    :laughing:

Killdeer

You don't suppose he's taking a crash course in Photoshop, d'ye?   :knothead:    :biglaugh:

Killdeer~ marooned in Bridgeville once.
Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.
