I've found a source of heat treated, curly Maple.  The heat treatment darkens the wood and really pops out the Curl.  It looks much like high dollar Curly Walnut used in high end shotguns.  I only have enough left for a few bow risers or limbs. I've ordered more but it may be a month.  So if you've been thinking about an order before Christmas, now is the time.

The bow you see in the picture is a blank going to Roger in GA.  It has no finish or stain applied but you can see how beautiful it's going to be.

The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

I thought at first you were trying to pull something on us. It sure does look like curly walnut. Sweet looking wood.

I still have enough for two more bows.  Just give me a call.
