It is the only bow I own. I have been shooting it since 2004 and it is made by a friend of mine. Ken

Congrats on the deer. Your story made me think of the two year chase I've been on. I named the buck I'm after "The Coonster" he usually has a coon along with him for the picture.
May the spirit of archery always be with you,and keep you young at heart.  www.lostcreekbow-com.webs.com

Nice buck and a great shot. What size was that VPA?

ken denton

It is one of the older ones(200 grain glue on) with a 75 grain steel adaptor. My black Trad-Lite 29" arrows weight 300 grains and with the BH/adaptor comes up to 575 grains approx. Weight forward is very good which makes for great penetration in a 47# bow. About a 12 gpi.
Most of my Trad-Lite weight 300 grains and Carbon express about 320 without points so I adjust the steel adaptors to fit which total weight I want. This is with the 15 grain alum. adaptor. The Vps is easy to sharpen and I put Chap-stick on the edges. Ken
