I have one of the Grayling green K Mag, 45#, from the early 70s and absolutely love it!  I picked it up earlier this year, and it is my first Bear bow after a lifetime of wanting one.  I wouldn't trade it for the world now.

One question: I'm running Easton aluminum shafts thru it currently, but do these bows seem to like the wooden shafts better?  It's been on my mind to give them a shot, but thought I'd run it by the forum first to see.

I can't say I love mine, truly, yet; but I do like it.

I have a '72 K Mag 28" @ 45#... I love mine....I bought it from a fellow Trad ganger on here.. THe only thing I do notice is if I dont concentrate on keeping my bow hand steady it is less forgiving.....Other than that its  great bow...

1972 Kodiak Magnum...paid $75.00...good price and give up my wheels(15years)!  Shooting fairly well out to 15 yards...lightwieght and very easy to carry.
2nd Lt. George Rice: Looks like you guys are going to be surrounded.
Richard Winters: We're paratroopers, Lieutenant. We're
supposed to be surrounded.

I sold one at Denton Hill this summer, so I'm down to one - a '65 48#er that i'll probably never part with.

I dont own one but I have shot a few, it seemed odd to me but the one I shot the best was about 5# higher than my normal draw. I would sure pick one up for the right price.

Always nice to see when you post those pics of your KMags Jack

I have 3 of them, I use them for hunting from my blinds.
