Those are some big ears on that ol gal.   Those big bucks found some cache of acorns I bet and are just lounging there and gobbling them up.  Looking forward to seeing that one in some up close pictures    :thumbsup:

Thanks again fellas! I wish I would have weighed her after all the meat I pulled off her last night. She had to be 140# at least. Now I gotta find her daddy...Hey Steve O and Ryan: I was wearing my lucky hat some Manitoba outfitter gave me  :)

Congrats Mike ! Yep, them older does are the lookouts for sure. Had several of them over the years ruin my hunts when they knew something was not right and lead the others away.

A word of warning if she is indeed old.....one of mine was 8.5 years old according to the biologist and tooth wear. Backstraps and burger only ! I tried to eat some of the cubed steaks and even after running thru the cuber they were full of gristle. Hope old Mossy Horns comes by to visit you soon !!!
