Looked at it again and really paid attention. I'd reguess more around 115-135. Tines are tall, but mass and width aren't gonna put him in the 135-150 range. Appears to be a 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 year old deer. But I could be completely off.

i looked at the video real close, and added up.
i came up with 147"......guessing hes 16" wide.
he might be just a tad better than that since i didnt over measure.    he's defenently a shooter!      i got my fingers crossed, but i aint gonna hold my breathe.

I guess ur just gonna hafta kill em so we can find out. ;-p

What is the range from ur stand to the location where u are filming the buck.

Sam i wasnt in a stand,  i was just out scouting around and actually seen another buck just to the left of where this one was and eased over to sit on a log to watch him when i spotted this one, then the heart rate went up and in a hurry i got my camera out , thats why its so shaky .

he's probobly ..oh..90-100 yds.  i had him zoomed pretty much so that makes it shakier too.    i did make me a ground blind  downwind of a trail that i think he was traveling,        his horn score really doesent matter to me,

i wish the weather would cool down again.Just can't get into bow hunting in the 80's the local weatherman says we will have snow by the end of oct???? it's missouri it could happen..

i forgot..i have 3 scrapes this morning in there favorite spots..

USN_Sam1385

Wow. Looking at him from that picture changes my opinion once again. I would DEFINITELY put him in the 145-155 range. Maybe a bit more if the mass is as thick as it looks.

Was hard to tell with the video.

I know it doesn't matter to you, but is fun to figure out anyhow.

Went out the last two afternoons, feel like I'm just wasting my time! It's hot, the moon is about full, & the deer arn't movin during  daylight hours. I'll try again in the morning, but don't expect much to happen ?

Know what you mean Ryan, I only have two places I can really hunt with this E/SE wind, one is more of an evening stand the other requires sneaking in by a bunch of houses or a big walk through a bunch of briars.

Another week of frustration. The wind keeps shifting and I get busted before I have a chance. Nothing but small deer and a couple of larger does but I've had a long dry spell and anything that will fit on a sandwich will do.

Went out behind my house tonight (windy & hot) and got to shoot over the back of a turkey that wandered by.

I've been out a bunch of times behind my house and had my first sighting of a deer from a stand Fri night. Pretty nice non typical buck feeding on acorns about 50 yards from my stand. He stayed in about a 15-20' area feeding for at least 45 minutes and was still there when it was too dark to see him. I was tickled at the chance to watch him like that. Hopefully I can see him again.

Thanks, Robert. I see you've been slaying a few down your way. Keep after them.

i saw a huge buck with a hot doe this mornning,
i was just thinking yesterday, if any does come in heat early it should be rite now.
aprox. 28 more days and things should get crazy, i sat on a log all day waiting for them to come back through, i should have known better with the full moon and all.

The MO rut is gettin spread out IMO, saw a REALLY small fawn tryin to cross the hiway last weekend.

Was gonna get a pic, but a fast Ford pickup,if there is such :>) changed my mind!
Stay sharp, Kenny.
