Sounds good to me send the address.
Bowhunting is a passion, not an obsession. Its just hard for my wife to tell the difference sometimes.

I may have "camped" on the streets in the Ville a few times in the summer.  It's a little chilly for that in January.  But, those days are (mostly) in the rearview mirror.
Silence is golden.

KellyG

Heck lab love you are not that far at all. I would say 2.5 hours south of me on 77.

lablover

Thats about right, my son use to go to Kstate so we came up that way alot.

I think I might go out and see what what kind of bunny sign I can find this weekend.

Paul/KS

So, did ya see anything...?

Paul/KS

Must be still looking...or counting all the rabbits.
Well, I renewed my hunting license, the triumph of Hope over Experiance...
 :)

KellyG

I have not made it out to the areas yet Paul. I have been trying to get my son his deer. I have areas in mind just need to go look.

I did do a test run on my smoker with a deer roast and it turned out oh so good. I used a onion rub, plus it was back strap so that helps.

I have a big neck roast I am going to smoke. I may bake it the night before and let it smoke while we hunt. Mine is a wood so I have to load it up with the wood and let it do its thing.

I am really looking forward to the hunt. Less then a month to go.

Paul/KS

Good luck hunting with your son.
Last day is today but I'm workin'...

KellyG

Paul we went out last night and this morning. No luck. His buck season is over. We will cheat durning the extended season.

Paul/KS

Hope he gets one.
I'm eating tag soup this year myself...

Balding Kansan

I'll eat tag soup with you Paul, it tastes better when somebody else is eating it too!

Oh he may get a doe yet. If he gets time to go during this extended doe season.  I am pulling stands tomorrow we won't hunt the fort until turkey season.

Funny thing is that he said he watched about 5 bunnies play out in front of his stand  that last morning he went out.
