Nope they say "45-70" but thats about it. Im just going to fletch it up and shoot it and see how it does, I doubt i would deer hunt with them just because they feel so light, but heck if they work ill buy at least a dozen more for rabbits stumps!

I've spine checked these. I buy them every year  they spine on the heavy side for sure 45/60 come in mostly in the 300 range. @31"  so cut them and you up it near too stiffThey are very good quality I keep them long and shoot heavy tips.  Keep in mind though.  These arrow ratings are for highly efficient compound bows.

A friend at work gave me six 2117s to try. The first two shots ended up with broken knocks and two dry fires on my bow. Thank god no damage. I will not use them again. Just a heads up.

huskyarcher

Update: I fleched mine up and shot it with one of my bows and it flew excellent. The nock did fly out after a few shots, but hey a little super glue in the nock and i have some mean rabbit, squirell, stump arrows.

Does anybody have any experience with these arrows and deer?

i just got some of the allen 45-70 31 inch arrows fletched them and they seem to shoot as good as i can out of my 55 lb bear longbow .
as long as they hit the spot do you think the deer mind if you payed 3 dollors a peice or 25 lol .

just my 2 cents ,

Update: I got the points in that I was waiting for. Shot two fletched and two bareshaft. I ended up with 175 grain points with 80 grains behind the inserts and they fly great!! The weights on nine arrows ( some fletched and some bareshaft) ranges from 546 grains to 560 grains.

I did have to reglue all of the inserts and I used Bohning nocks intead of what they came with. As a side note, the inserts in these shafts look like carbon express.

I shot the carbon express terminater hunters from there a few years ago. I replaced the vanes and ended up with a fairly cheap dozen that was the death of several critters. Waiting on the price jdrop after the season is over. Make for some really good sqirrel arrows too.

I am shooting the CE 30in 50-60 Devils Wrath arrows from Walmart out of my Bamboo Viper. They shoot great. I emailed CE and questioned them about the spine for these and they told me that the Devils Wrath spines at .397. They are also 10 grains per inch, so for me, a dang good carbon arrow.

But with that said, I am making the move back to aluminum, just need some .400 spine gamegetters for my longbow.

Gdpolk

The $3 Allen 45-70 seem to fly straight for me out of my longbow.  I'm going to make a set of footed flu-flu arrows out of them for stumping and small game shooting.

Be careful i have used them before and the knock ends crack easy just from target shooting.
