BSBD

Saluki Ibex 62@28 or Centaur carbon with the same specs.

The Centaur is more stable and probably more durable but the the Saluki is so quick that I have a hard time adjusting to other bows.

Just like that chewing gum in the chicken house...I thought I found it a couple of times.

Actually, (I'm going to get kicked out of a club here) I thought it would be a Silvertip. I bought a Habu off a fine Trad Ganger this week. Sooooo different from any recurve I own or have shot. This one may be IT.

The only bow I will hunt with this year is a LH '64 Kodiak that was gifted to me by our own Felix.

Thanks again Felix

Umm....So....I bought a new bow today.  Don't worry, got approval from the wife first  :)

Could make for some interesting choices in the coming weeks.

Downtime

I am putting aside my Bear Kodiak Hunters and been tuning a 45lb - Martin Saber and myself for the last few months.  I am working hard to be ready for a trad. shoot that is coming up in August, just north of Wausau.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

Picked up a Great Northern Jackknife Critter Gitter Special awhile back(Thanks Mike Burch); just got around to tuning it up.  Got a new string from good buddy A.S.; the thing shoots like a house afire.  Originally bought it as a back-up to my Bushbow...thinking it might be #1 this fall, though.

Hoping my new Zipper makes it here in time.
