I just read the article yesterday.  It was a great story.  

I was curious what poundage was the bear bow he using?  The article didn't say.

He was using a new super kodiak It's 45@28 but he draws 32'' so 50 something pounds. The body was as impresive as the antlers on him, the taxidermist said he's using the biggest form he's ever used on a deer. We guess him to be around 7 years old but haven't had a pro check out his jaw yet to give us an age yet. Something special about a buck of any size that lives to be that mature.
