Autumn Orange Find

I received a tip from a fellow TG'r about a sporting goods place in North Carolina that had some autumn orange shafts.  I looked up the name of the store on the internet and contacted the owner and he said in fact that he did have "some" 2018's, maybe a couple dozen but he would look and see how many he had.  He told me to call back the next day.  When I called back he informed me that he actually had 50.  They arrived today and I am like a kid at Christmas.  Needless to say I now have a lifetime supply of brand spanking new xx75 full length shafts.  And before you ask, NO they are not for sale    .

If they still made autumn oranges I wouldn't be shooting wood.

With the millions that Easton made over the years they still turn up every now and then. You just have to keep your eyes open.

ya it would be sweet finding a couple dozen 1916's in that, if we would of only know, i had a Archery Shop in the early 90's and that was my normal arrow to sell

i have a couple in 2020. actually my 1st bow kill (and it was trad), was with one.

For me it is just sentimental reasons.  The Autumn Orange is what alot of us shot when we started shooting.

I still keep kicking myself, I was walking around one of the hunting shows a couple years ago and at one of the 10X10' booths they had a small garbage can FULL of them, mixed sizes, "your choice $1 each", I went through everyone in the can and picked out all the 2219's, 30 some and was real happy, the next morning I woke up kicking myself, I SHOULD HAVE bought them ALL.

Hess, I paid $42 a dozen shipped.  I don't think that's too bad at all for a shaft that hasn'
t been made for quite a few years.
