After a 4-month wait my new bow has arrived--specs are 44#@28, 58"AMO (short laminate riser), amberboo cores, and dyed matched curly maple veneers on the back. Herb was originally hesitant to use a gray dye on the curly veneers--he thought the grain wouldn't "pop", but I think he did just fine--in person the veneers look just like granite. The contrasting brown belly of the bow is, I think, pretty sharp and Herb says it's totally unique among Pronghorns--judge for yourself-- I am a happy camper!

Very cool looking for sure, stained maple looks awesome. Hows the grip on these 3pc bows?

Great looking bow and those pronghorns shoot great.
Bowhunting is a passion, not an obsession. Its just hard for my wife to tell the difference sometimes.

I like the brown & gray.  I have a brown stained riser & just got an extra set of limbs that are brown glass & it doesn't look as good as yours.

Nice!

That is awesome. What a nice bow.

To answer about the grip--I would describe it as a mild locator grip, and on the short riser the grip is a bit shorter as well, like 1/2-3/4". Fortunately, my hands are not too large and it suits me.

Sharp. I like the grey with red in the riser. And the two tone limbs. Well done
