Mudd, Love the camo tights. You have style. I think!!!

That knife is possibly meant to replicate a   Bollocks Dagger  . If that is the case, I think the manner in which it is being worn is historically accurate.

Got more guts than me to wear them.  Could be why they hung out in the forrest.

The tights themselves are fine for some fellas', it's just that they make my Butt look Big.  :scared:

I need something more loose and concealing. They do work well as an underlayer in cold weather though.

Great picture! They are certainly sure of their masculinity! Of course calling a guy with a longbow a "sissy" might get you into trouble.

Reminds me of a story I was told when I was younger and playing in the S.C.A. (Society for Creative Anachronism)

If I remember correctly it was in Ca.in the early years of the SCA, late 60's to early 70's. Anyway a biker gang in the area decided to start some trouble at an SCA event and as word got around, the fighters prepared to repel the biker gang. The gang supposedly was walking down the road toward the fighters, ready to do battle, when they suddenly stopped dead in their tracks. When the surprised fighters looked behind them they saw a large group of young ladies dressed in "tights and tunics" wearing little "robin hood" hats with........ (wait for it)......... drawn longbows!!!!

Needless to say the bikers decided not to proceed with their plans and made friends. I was told the gang became the first "roving shire" of the SCA.
Story still makes me smile.

They have their place, in Sherwood.  Here in Texas the laughter they create scares the deer.          :archer2:

i think they have a man crush on each other.

My grandfather used to have a horn like that, actually I have it now, that the would call up cows in his younger days.  I remember him using it at our deer camp in his older years to signal if he needed help (downed deer).  It's amazing how far away you can hear one.  those things really bellow out some sound.  I've heard of guys using them to call in hounds also.

The bowhunter on the left is Chester Stevenson and to the right is Grover Gouthier. This photo is not in Chester's book The Old
Bowhunter. The film is reveresed because both men shot right handed. Grover shot with his bear fingers with no tab or glove with a 75# bow most of the time. They colected Port Orford cedar logs ane made there own arrows with 1 1/2" broadheads with arrow weighing about 650 grains and being 12/32". Ken

awesome.  folks having fun doing their thing.  I think that quite frankly, we need more of that sort of feeling.  It seems that a bunch of us "modern" arrow flingers get upset if our camo patterns don't match or the shirt is wrinkled.

Amen, Chuck!!
Those two are obviously secure enough with their masculinity to have some fun. Too bad some folks can't see that.
