I have not tried either of these bows. Have the itch to try something new. Any recommendations.

IMHO...Both are great bows.  I've owned both recently and they both shoot great.  I've only got a Moab right now and just sold a Big Jim 3 piece.  For me (and only me) the Moab is a bit more forgiving for my style of shooting but the Big Jim by no means is less accurate.  I just seem to shoot the Moab a bit better.  I will have a Big Jim 2 piece one day but it will need to wait.

Hope this helps and best of luck to ya.

I've got 2 Big Jim Buffalo bows, and am on the list for a 2pc Thunder Child. I've never shot a MOAB, but I love my Buffalo bows.

Have no experience with Big Jim bows but I do have a MOAB and she is a sweet shooter......Randy

I've never shot a MOAB but I can tell you it would have to be one heck of a bow to shoot better than my two piece buffalo.

RC

I`ve owned a MOAB and shot a Big Jim bow. Actually a couple of them Friends own. Both fine bows but the Big Jim wins out for me.RC

BRITTMAN

I liked the Big Jim bow better to . Mostly because I like bows with a higher brace height but also the Big jim bow seemed smoother on the draw  , speed was about the same to my eye  .

Both are awesome bows I have shot them both and for me it is a hard decision between the two

The responses reveal that both these bows a great bows. Reviewing the total responses makes it quite clear that bow fit is personal and one should do their best to try before they buy.
