As the late, great Jack Howard has passed on, I am in need of a few, new feather rests for my Howatt Hunter Ne Plus Ultra.  I sure wish I had bought several more before Jack passed.  Do you fellows know anyone who is making a quality feather rest?

Thank you!
If all the warm and fuzzy people would hug a Grizzly, my life would be much more pleasant!

Go to the member directory on here and look up TRAP (Daryl) and send him a PM. He makes a great feather rest and many on here shoot them.

+1 for Trap.  I recently received 3 from him and they are top notch.

Blackhawk

I have used rests from Trap on my older Bear bows and cannot imagine a better one.

I have bought a number of them from 3 Rivers. They work great for my wife and kids bows as far as the arrow not coming off of the rest as they draw. These are probably not as nice as the ones mentioned above but they work

JRY309

I have bought a couple of feather rests from Trap on here, they work great.I put them on a couple of old Ben Pearson's.

What is the preferred glue to use for attaching a feather rest?

Tom

None with Trap's rests, they are self adhearing.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

Does anyone have a picture of the correct placemnet of a feather rest that they can post?

Mike Shaw

Trap's rests are the only ones that go on my bows

I don't have a picture but generally put the high point right over the deepest part of the grip and up against your strike plate.

People need to get a life. That dose not mean to take someone else's, or to make one they can't support.

If you fish and hunt only to catch or kill something. You have MISSED THE POINT COMPLETELY.

LONGSTYKES

I would like to find a source for feather rests. I looked under the directory for a TRAP (Dayrl), nothing came up. ????

x10 for Trap's feather rest.

As soon as "new" old bow gets here i gotta decide if Im taking original "rug" off and adding one right away .....or not.

Betting I do.

Almost makes me a good shooter!
God Bless
