Name This Skull

At first I thought it was the elusive chupacabra, but the snout is too short!     So, I'm leaning towards the badger as well...

dental formula are very helpful in identifying skulls and are inclueded in many mammal field guides.

All of the animals listed above can be distiguished by a different set of teeth.  Count 'em and you'll know what it is.

Racoon: i3/3, c1/1, p4/4, m2/2 total=40

canine: i3/3, c1/1, p4/4, m2/3 total=42

It's either a skunk or badger, looks too small for a raccoon, wrong brain cavity for a grinner, not slim and pointed enough for a fox, too small for a coyote.
