I just picked up an Accusharp.May be the best $10 I've ever spent.Had my Zwickeys hair poppin' sharp in minutes.Who else likes these?

I like them for getting knifes and 2 blade broadheads rather sharp then I finish them off with my KME and then strop with an old piece of leather.

I use mine for touch ups but not initial sharpening. I finish with a ceramic rod. Works for me and I am the worlds worst sharpener.

I like em also, but still use a file and stone too. They can't be beat for truing up a broadhead that you just shot at a critter, missed and then stuck in the dirt. Lightweight and safe to use.

I use them on knives, especially my wife's kitchen knives. Not much on broadheads.

iv killed so many animals with an Acu shappend broadhead, i do like the easy and speed of using them in the field. if i have time i will file or KME sharpen my heads before a hunt but once out in the bush the acu sharp is king.

I keep 2

1 for setting the edge first
then a second for very light finishing. if you'r accurate you can get heads super sharp

I use them on BH, knives, my Shrew Hawk, butcher knives, etc...  Great for touch up after a pass through on hogs as you wait to pick up the trail.

i agree huntingnut...its fantastic...no reason now a guy can say he cant sharpen broadheads...

Used to sell them and have used them for knives for years. Pretty much fool proof. The big thing is they establish a good angle without a bunch of fooling around.

They are a bit harsh in the amount of metal they remove; so what if they do a good job.

I agree they take off a lot of steel, but man,it's so easy to get stuff sharp.I got tired of fighting with my broadheads and never getting them quite sharp enough, so I thought I'd give an Accusharp a try.Glad I did.

I'm a fan of the Accusharp because of its ease of use. Always have one in my fanny pack for a quick touch up but all initial sharpening done with my KME. The Accusharp proved to be a real time saver for me last year. My brother-in-law has been bringing me his kitchen knives to sharpen for several years. Last year I gave him an Accusharp for Christmas. Havn't had to sharpen a knife for him since. I'd say that was money well spent.

I don't use them on knifes but they work great on broadheads especially on grizzlys.

Just ordered one from Amazon for $8.99, and free shipping. I love 3-Rivers but they really need to step their game up.

This would have cost me $12 from them, plus another $6 for shipping.

I have Arkansas stones, an electric knife sharpener, multiple ceramic sharpeners, and have even sent my knives to be professionally sharpened. I am not impressed with the results from any of the above methods.

I am a harsh critic of whether something is sharp enough, so I will keep you posted on the accusharp's abilities.

I do like tradtusker, I have one for setting the edge and one I only use for finishing. Super sharp broadheads. Been doing it this way for years.

My dad swears by the file and stone method. It works great just takes forever. The Accusharp cuts the time dramtically and as stated you can carry it in the field.

Well, I can't believe it, but this thing actually worked...

I have NEVER had hair popping sharp blades before in my life.

I have used stones, 3 rivers carbide sharpener, even sent to a professional. Nothing worked.

Well this thing cost me 8.99 including shipping and it worked in 20 seconds..

I can't believe it.

I also don't have much hair left on the lower part of my left arm.
