It is a bobcat.Pictures distort perspective some but from the looks of the canines,it is a mature one.Without measurements,I couldn't say whether it is male or female.

With Bowspirits name mentioned I might have guessed domestic house cat. He does have a fondness for hunting less than wild beasts. Any white hairs found close by the skull? How bout a pink collar and bell?    :p
Never did have any experiances with cat, Izzy. But in all seriousness I once had an uncle who talked of how easy it was to prepare in the kitchen.   :bigsmyl:

I was going to say large adult bobcat or small mt. lion, maybe a half grown adolescent?
Do you all have mt. lions or cougars up there?

I'd almost bet with 90% certainty that it's a feline of some sort. Hard to say without actually holding it in my hands, like another member said already pictures distort the actual size and shape a bit.

A bobcat or a pug nose dog(LOL)

I have seen lots of Bobcats and none have ever had anything close to those choppers.  If it were a cat he was a record book bobcat for sure.  We have a 45 lb bobcat at the local  game and fish fish hatchery and he is not even close to those teeth.  Don't think it is bobcat at all.

Lynx Skull

Hope the link worked. I'm going with lynx, matches the teeth a lot better.

I was thinking bobcat until fireball31 said lynx. It sure looks like a cat scull for sure. May be a lynx ?

Just went up stairs and brought one down to compare........I was thinking Bobcat.  Even though mine was a Tom that scaled 40#,  the 'canine teeth' are somewhat smaller... So even though I have never seen or handled one, I'll agree with Lynx.    :dunno:

I was thinking Bobcat all along.  They get huge around here.

I'm not sure lynx are around here but then again, Maybe the Bobcats I've seen are really lynx  :dunno: . When I say they are huge, I'm talking HUGE.

Maybe IndianaBowman will chime in. He shot a bigun with his bow a couople years ago.
