I told Oliverstacy this morning that I planned on doing some shooting today but because it's so yucky outside I'd be doing it all indoors unless the weather changed.

After getting all my my routine stuff done(feeding dogs and such) I decided to open up my new dvd from the Wensel brothers(Essential Encounters, Primal DreamsII).

This video will make you want to shoot your bow guaranteed!

Anyway I was keeping a close eye on the Wensels' shooting style and decided to give it a try. I mean heck I can only shoot 10 yards so what can go wrong?

Mudd, I've got a hole in one of my walls where I let a young man shoot in my basement. It got away from him while drawing back. I had him sign next to the hole with a sharpie and my wife was real proud of us both. No point in patching such a small hole and a great conversation piece. You might have to pull your arrow to get yourself out of hot water...but hey, it's just a tiny hole. Memories are made with a stick and string.

It happened to me once at fishing camp...unfortunately I was using a judo point and the hole in my paneling became much larger when I removed the arrow...again, great conversation piece!

Don't send them a bill, just invite them over for dinner then have them autograph the hole. Then you can leave it there and the wife will have a conversation piece, ( so maybe she won't complain).
Just be sure you fix PLENTY of food, those boys can EAT!

time for litigation....self induced property damage while under the influence of their products.  i did the same thing to my parents house when i was 16. i was about 1/2" away from what appeared to be a gas line in the wall.  come to think of it, i think i was watching october whitetails at the time...

When I was a child I shot a hole through my uncle's walk-out basement door. He didn't have me sign the hole, but he didn't tan my hide either. 40 years later I'm still glad he was so forgiving.(you might mention that to your wife...it may not help, but you never know.)
