Mike,
Tell me you didn't sell the Tip that you had at ETAR two years ago!

Ive killed them with Magnas I's and Razorcaps, but today I got some heads from Big Jim. The 300gn 3 blades. I'm thinking these will be on my arrow for a while. DB

My Sitka Spruce arrows will be tipped with these...

Large 160 gr Snuffers....

"Neal...is this heaven?" "No Piute but we are dam close". Top of the Mtn in Medicine Bow Nat Forest.

G5 Striker Magnum 125 grain, 1.5 inch cut fixed three blade.

Does the trick every time.  Thinking of adding some insert weight to bump it up a bit, but have not found that I need it yet.  As most, I like to play around with gear.

I have had horrible luck with Montec heads. On turkeys they should be OK, but on big game, they break at the threads A LOT! I have had it happen on deer 2 times...so I quit using them. They are some sort of funny steel that breaks a whole lot easier than machined solid steel. Their small game points break all the time too. I quit using their brand because of it. Just my experience and opinion.

I'll add another for 160 gr. snuffers.

Turkies are tough. Only 160 Snuffers for me.

Did a little cutting and grinding on a Herters-Ram MX. All I need is a turkey !

With a insert it still weighs over 180gr.

Turkeys are the only animal for which I use a 3-blade. I bought a bunch of Bodkin "seconds" some years ago, and I like the way they tune and fly. I have killed 3 turkeys with them and see no reason to change.
Is it too late to be what I could have been?

I'm going to try the simmons treeshark 190 grain, be my first year using this broadhead, or tradgear for that matter!
