These things are an awesome sight to see in person.  Solid 1-piece design, wide, easily sharpened and from what I hear tough... time will tell on that last point.

These will be on the end of my 31" Goldtip 75/95 and shot out of my PSA II, 70# @ 30"...  I need to get my riser back from Montana though... The 250 grain heads I was shooting out of it every once in a while would show stiff while in flight.  So these 300 grainers should cure that.

I've got 6 right now that I traded into, and another 6 that I just purchased from another Ganger... Can't wait to put one through something!

Hey Jeff how big are they compared to a snuffer

Bowhunter4life

Very similar to a 160 Snuffer, Same length but just a touch wider.  Maybe a 1/16 of an inch...

Of course I shoot them. I have been exstreemly pleased with there performance. I had a good season with the taking of 4 deer and 3 hogs with these heads. Massive blood trails and quick death. I have yet to dammage a head although it seems like I tried. many shots into the earth before leaving the stand along with a couple of missed coon and yes, I even missed a couple of deer.

BH4life, I think that most of the guys are just scared to try them  :)

Jim I would love to try them, but being out of work puts a damper on that. Gotta keep searching the classifieds, some are bound to show  :)

Jim,

As you know, we've talked about them in the past.  But now that I've seen them in person all I can say is WOW!!!  If I could work all by bows into shooting these (none of them are less then 60#) I would... May take a bit of tinkering with arrow but so far I'm impressed.  I've got my name on a dozen of the 1 1/4", 250 grainers and that may be where the new to me Kwyk Styk ends up but that Widow I just purchased is right where these heads will shine.

Anyone that shoots the 160 Snuffer, this is an upgrade!  Everyone I've put on an arrow spins perfectly true and it is as solid of a head as I've seen.  Wide, easily sharpened, and can take some punishment.  What more can you ask for???

And Jim, when I get payment for some other heads I recently sold I'll be giving you a shout for some more of these.

x2 on what steadman said. It's not that i'm scared to give em a try it's just that the wallet is scared to get off the cash.

Believe it or not the "HARDWAY" is often the EASIER way(in hindsight)!

I haven't killed any critters with mine yet but I can vouch for the toughness.  I use the 250gr. glue-ons and I dead centered my safe with one of them and it barely put a little flat spot on the tip that was easily fixed in about 10sec. with a file.  I've hit that safe with other b-heads and practice points and it destroyed them all.  They may seem a little pricey but well worth it and will pay for themselves in the long run.
Chasing my kids and my degree for now but come next fall the critters better look out.  ;)
