Dwyer Dauntless ... I know he still makes them, but I had a 64 inch bow.  He never made but one of them ... damn my ignorance for ever selling it!!!  :banghead:

Stemmler Mongol II 48" 48# @ 28.  I was teaching my collage roommate to shoot and he snapped it in too.  I've never found another short recurve to compare.

Rainman, I don't plan on selling or trading it, but here's some eye candy for ya.

Top one in this pic. 58" 62@28, cocobolo riser and overlays and curly maple limbs. Static tips with the perfect recurve grip for me. Top bow in the first pic.

My vote would be for both the brownings and shakespeares.  They both made some fine bows back in the day.

Bear needs to re-make the 59 Kodiak.

I'd also go with the Sovereign Ballistik. R.I.P John.

Chaparrel Alpine recurve.

Uncle Buck

I may have missed it but I dont think anyone has mentioned the Super Diablo.

I'd vote for the Rocky Mountain recurve as well.

Thanks Kevin, I still regret selling mine 12 years later but it was 68# at 28" and I have been out of the Marines to long to shoot 68# any more.

chaparrel kabob, not sure if I spelled this right but these bows were shooters.

Blackstick

It's not an old model, but Brandon Stahl should bring back his Rose Oak Companion. In the last year I have become a real fan of something I can no longer get.

jess stuart

How about the Savage Deathmaster, and I love the Rocky Mountain Recurve as well.
