Instead of purchasing the little finger protectors you can get at three rivers, does anybody else have any ideas as how to protect their fingers when they shoot?  This is for a 4 year old and a tab wouldn't be easy enough at that age.

Mine just shot bare fingers and didn't mind.  Now that they are getting a little bigger with a heavier bow we went to the no glove.

You could try some electrical tape if you need a little more area to reduce the string pressure.

As quickly as they'll grow you may be able to find leather work gloves for small hands to fill the need until their hands are large enough for archery gloves.

"no glove" is a good option.  Wonder if you can still get em??

The no gloves have worked great for the grandkids

When my kids were little they actually preferred there "batting gloves" from baseball season. They make them in versy small sizes and being a full glove they don't have to fight it.

What I did was just to make a little tab for my neighbors daughter from some scrap leather.Simple and easy,I just trimmed it to fit her.

You can use plain ole white masking tape.

Put a coating of fletching cement on the area of the serving where you're gonna put the tape. Now wrap a single layer of tape around the string and coat with more fletching cement. (don't barber pole it... cut a piece to length)

Build it up as thick as you like alternating glue and tape with final glue coat on last tape wrap. Two or three layers work fine.

Oh yeah!!! You can make a very serviceable and permanent nocking point (for adults) the same way.

What about women's leather dress gloves from Goodwill? The would be small and maybe fit kids for cheap and you would have right or left.

My son just turned 6 and he's been using an xs youth tab for just over a year. I thought he would have trouble with it but he had zero problems from day 1.

At the weak poundages for 4 year olds I found that my grandkids didn't need anything on their fingers.  When they moved up in weight they used youth gloves.

If their fingers are getting sore let them shoot in their winter gloves.

I fashioned a tab for my lil one using remnents of my old tabs, lil hands make it pretty easy recycled something instead of pitching & I saved money.

"No Glove" x 100  It is also beneficial because you can slap the bow in the hands of one of their friends and have them shooting in minutes.  I use one on one of my bowfishing rigs.
