The pics are fine Mudd. The bow is a beauty! I like the Juniper limbs on the Cheetah. If I ever get around to getting a Hill, it'll most likely be a Cheetah or Redman. Congrats on another fine bow.

Mudd -

The bright sun reflecting off the snow background is causing a back light photo. The camera sees the reflected light more than the darker wood.

All things considered, pics are pretty good. Congrats on the bow.

Mudd,
Please send the bow to West Virginia so I can take some REALLY nice pictures of it (It was a lowly 52 degrees here today but the sun wasn't shining as bright here).   Since the bow is not photogenic at this time, I fear it suffers seasonal depression.   As part of it's rehabilitation, rest assured I will feed the bow plenty of arrows and when springtime falls in Sherwood once again, I will send it back to you     .   Of course it may cost you a hat...      Nice looking bow Roy!

Mudd-

Congrats, the bow looks great! I feel for you man, that's a lot of snow, WOW. I live in South Florida between Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton. And, today I was outside shooting in my t-shirt, shorts and flipflops. It's  Margaritaville down here.

Congratulations on the new Hill. Glad you did not have any damage. Will be Spring soon enough and the arrows can fly.

Mudd, I can't believe that PVC schedule 40 tube was broken.  That mule train mail service out there in MO is pretty rough on shipping.  When I mailed it, the tube alone weighed 10 1/2 pounds.  The mule must have stepped on it.
LOL.

Nice Bow.
Go to white balance set, set it on the snow, go to exposure and drop down neg 1 or 2 clicks, don't forget to turn off that IAuto setting, and use your feet for the zoom. Even cheap digital cameras can take some good close ups in the sun. Works the same in the house, just set the white balance on something white, in the light that you are in, auto ISO limit to 400-800 or so.
Nice Bow.

Super nice Cheetah. Except for the grip I have it's twin. Looking forward to the ongoing story.
