what is a rasonable or lightest setup you guys would advise useing on the simmons tree shark 165 grain 2 blade. there a big 2" cut broadhead and i thought theyd be great for turkeys. my set is 50# @30" im not yet made my surewood shafts but thell be full length.
if you have used them please tell me ur setup and weather mine would be suitable for a passthrough on dder/turkey.

thanks,
steven

I've not used the Sharks, but I'd think 50# is plenty of "uumph" to get the job done on turkeys and deer.

total arrow weight is a consideration, that being said stick around 10 gr /lb of draw minimum and you will be fine.Im convinced having an arrow not pass through is not a bad thing on a turkey. Some even shoot low poundage for this very reason on gobblers.
