I released (not planted not dizzied) five birds into a snowstorm then spent two hours looking for them.  After not finding one of them I was on my way back to the truck when my dog went on point,  I flushed the bird and shot it.  It flew a ways before going down and on the way back from the retrieve my dog pointed the second bird.

Thats aweswome...When you can hit two on the fly in a row.Do you play slots? If so maybe you should hit one today.Very awesome pic's.

I tried pheasant hunting this fall.  It was a blast.  Needless to say I don't have any pics to show, no hits.  You can bet I'll be at it again next fall though.  Nice shooting!

I would probably run out of arrows and never ruffle a feather.

Good pic.

I use the SGH (small game head) from G5.  They are devastating on Pheas in flite.  If I was using any other head (including broadhead) I would not have gotten either of these birds.  My shots were glancing blows and from past experience a broadhead would have just "glanced off". The SGH is shaped like a talon and the claws grab on and put a big gouge in the birds.  Yes it was pretty lucky of me to get two birds with two shots.  It usually takes me about 5 shots per bird hit.  Last year at our Trad groups annual bird hunt I got three in the air.  Two of those were in a row and my son got it on film.

The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Wow!  Very impressive!  I have trouble hitting them with a shotgun!  Excellent picture and you have a nice looking dog also!
