I recently bid against a fella in an auction on this site for the Chris Surtess auction .
I didn't win that particular auction but it was all for a good cause and I'm glad I participated as I did ...
[ also won me a nice Bison backpack...thanks Biggie ! ]

What is important is that I opnened the mail today to find a good portion of those Goose feathers neatly wrapped up sent via the USA addressed to me .

Random generosity is a rarity these days . Money is tight all over and people lead insular and busy lives ...

So I ain't gonna mention names ...

But a big thank you goes out to you Sir !...

I sent an email to of thanks, explaining that the arrows I am going ti make and use for an upcoming Nw Zealand hunt will wear these special feathers and this is the response I got

I am constantly amazed at the kindness and care shown by the folks on this site, this community. I am happy to be a part of this place that places such high regard on kindness, respect and manners. Many sites out there, but none that have the feel of Trad Gang.
